Hand-thinning begins in the Bradshaw Ranger District

PRESCOTT, AZ, Sept. 30, 2025—Beginning this week, contractors will begin several hand-thinning operation projects on the Bradshaw Ranger District, including the Ruth Fire Stewardship Project, Lynx East Timber Stand Improvement project and Poland Junction Timber Stand Improvement project. Chainsaws will be used to thin hazardous fuels and material will be hand piled.
