Afton, Wyo., June 6, 2025— Osmond Improvement and Service District (OISD) is replacing 1.25 miles of existing spring fed water pipeline on the Greys River Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The pipeline replacement will occur throughout the summer of 2025 and visitors may experience traffic delays along Forest Service Road 10079, commonly known as Dry Creek.

The pipeline corridor is a 10-foot-wide construction corridor centered on a 30-foot-wide road corridor. Traffic is expected to be reduced to one lane intermittently throughout the construction corridor. Flaggers will be present, and delays are expected to be no longer than 20-minutes at a time between June and October 2025.

While the road won’t be closed, visitors to this area of the Forest are asked to use caution and reduce their speed as the area will be congested with people and heavy equipment. For more information contact the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Greys River Ranger District at 307-886-5300.
