Allred Flat Group Picnic Site

The Allred Flat Group Picnic Area is located on the south side of Salt River Pass at an elevation of 6,500 feet, approximately 21 miles from Afton, Wyoming.

This group picnic site, located only 1/2 mile off the main highway, sits at the front of Allred Flat Campground. It can accommodate up to 50 people and 10 vehicles in the parking provided prior to entering campground. Vault toilets and potable water can be accessed in the campground, and bear-resistant garbage cans are provided by picnic area. Several large picnic tables, a fire ring with benches, and a grill are provided at the site. Roads and parking spurs within the site are gravel.

Directions

From the Town of Afton, Wyoming, head south on United States Highway 89 (US-89) for approximately 20 miles, then make a right turn onto Allred Flat/Forest Service Road 10131 (FS-10131). Allred Flat Group Picnic Area is located a quarter mile down this road off to the left.
