Riverside Campground
Riverside Campground lies on the banks of the Henrys Fork of the Snake River, about 15 miles north of Ashton, Idaho, just off U.S. Highway 20. Many campsites are close to the water’s edge, offering peaceful riverfront views. Its central location makes it a convenient basecamp for exploring Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, and even Yellowstone National Park.

Natural Features:
The campground is surrounded by lodgepole pine and open meadows, with the Henrys Fork providing a scenic backdrop. Wildlife such as moose, deer, bald eagles, and waterfowl are often seen in the area. Summer brings colorful wildflowers, while fall transforms the forest into a vivid display of color.

Recreation:
Riverside is a popular destination for fishing, kayaking, and rafting on the Henrys Fork. Nearby trails provide opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. With easy access to regional attractions, it’s also an excellent hub for day trips.

Facilities:
Riverside Campground offers 57 single-family sites and one group site. Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs, with picnic tables, fire rings, drinking water, and vault toilets provided. Fees are $25 per night for single sites and $75 for the group site, with an additional fee for extra vehicles.
