Flat Rock Extension Campground
Just upriver from Flat Rock Campground, this little campground is a favorite. Shaded sites sit along the road and the Yankee Fork River is across the road. Three campsite facilities include picnic tables, tent pads and fire rings with cooking grills. The campground has a vault toilet and accommodates trailers and motorhomes up to 16 feet. There are no hookups, drinking water is only available from nearby Flat Rock Campground.

The following passes are good for 50% reduction in camping fees: SENIOR PASS – Available for $10.00 to US Citizens 62 years and older. Must be purchased in person with proof of age such as driver’s license. ACCESS PASS – Available FREE of charge to US citizens that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability that severely limits one or more major life activities. Must be maintained in person with written proof of disability.

Single Site: $5 per night
A $10.00/night fee is charged for overnight camping.

From Stanley:Drive 11 miles east on Highway 75 to the Sunbeam Dam overlook. Turn left onto forest road #013 for about 2.25 mile. Campground is on the right. From Challis:Drive 42 miles west on Highway 75 to the Sunbeam Dam overlook. Turn right onto forest road #013 for about 2.25 mile. Campground is on the right.
