Ketchum, ID — The Sawtooth National Forest is seeking public comments on the Warm Springs Homeowners Association Driveway Special Use Permit project through June 30.
The homeowners association seeks to construct a 100-foot by 20-foot private driveway for access to private land off Warm Springs Road. The project area totals approximately 0.05 acre.
Based on resource information gathered to date, the project appears to qualify for a categorical exclusion, which is an action excluded from an environmental assessment or an environmental impact statement because the project is not anticipated to significantly affect the quality of the human environment. Scoping comments, along with a complete resource analysis, will determine whether this project can be categorically excluded.
Comments may be submitted to the Ketchum Ranger District or Sawtooth National Forest Supervisors Office during normal operating hours, which can be found online at https://www.fs.usda.gov/r04/sawtooth/offices.
Electronic comments can be submitted to comments-intermtn-sawtooth-ketchum@usda.gov. If comments are submitted as attachments, only submissions in plain text, rich text, PDF, or Word document formats will be considered.
