Willow Creek Campground

Willow Creek Campground is a small site composed of 6 camping units. Campground amenities include picnic tables, fire rings and a restroom.  Campground was renovated in 2021 with new vault toilet, site furniture, and campground layout.

General Information

May 15 through Oct. 31

Standard operating season is May - October but can be seasonally dependent.

All pets must be leashed in the campground.  All campfires must be attended.

Fees will be charged from mid-May through October 31st. $6.00 per night fee.

A paved parking lot ends at a concrete sidewalk that leads to the an office building with a stone and wood facade. A stand of trees flanks the building on the left and provides a backdrop for the trapezoidal sign extending from a stone base. The sign reads Fairfield Ranger District in brown text on a gold background on the top third and Sawtooth National Forest in gold text on a brown background on the bottom two-thirds. A flagpole appears in a grassy area between the sign and the building entrance.

Directions

From Highway 20, travel north on Forest Highway 61 (Pine-Featherville Road) approximately 30 miles to the town of Featherville.  From there, travel east on Forest Road 227 approximately 7 miles, then turn on Forest Road #008 and travel north approximately 1/4 mile to Willow Creek Campground.
