We occasionally have phone line issues. If you cannot get through, please try calling another office. Otherwise, please stop by one of our offices or visitor centers in person.

Acton Work Center (Acton, CA)

• Always call ahead to see if passes are available for sale, even on a day when they are normally sold.
• Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Angeles National Forest Headquarters / Supervisor's Office (Arcadia, CA) 

• Always call ahead to see if passes are available for sale, even on a day when they are normally sold.

Big Pines Visitor Center (Near Wrightwood, CA)

• Open from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. on weekends and some holidays

Chilao Visitor Center (Approximately 27 miles north of La Cañada Flintridge, CA) 

• Only open weekends and some holidays when staffing allows.
• Enter the visitor center from the back, as the front boardwalk needs repairs due to storm damage. 

Los Angeles Gateway Ranger District (San Fernando, CA)​

• Always call ahead to see if passes are available for sale, even on a day when they are normally sold.
• Passes available for sale (excluding 1 - 1: 30 p.m., closed for lunch) on:
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Mt. Baldy Visitor Center (Mount Baldy Village, CA)​

• Only open weekends and some holidays when staffing allows.

San Gabriel Canyon Gateway Visitor Center (Azusa, CA)​

• This visitor center is open when volunteers are available.
• To obtain a daily Adventure Pass for use in most areas of the Angeles National Forest, stop inside the visitor center or look for the back of an orange-colored machine in the drive-through lane farthest away from the main road. Pull in to use the machine for 24/7 service! 

San Gabriel Mountains National Monument District Office (Glendora, CA)​ 

• Passes are sold here on Mondays-Wednesdays.
• Passes may be sold Thursdays and Fridays when someone is available.
• Always call ahead to see if passes are available for sale, even on a day when they are normally sold.
