Select Campground Fee Increases start on May 1 at the Angeles National Forest

Arcadia, Calif., April 25, 2025—The Angeles National Forest, which includes the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument, is increasing fees from $12 to $20 per night at seven campgrounds starting on May 1, 2025. Increasing maintenance costs and other requirements are driving the need for these changes. 

Increasing from $12 to $20 per night:

  • Buckhorn Campground
  • Chilao Campground
  • Coldbrook Campground
  • Crystal Lake Campground
  • Horse Flats Campground
  • Manker Flat Campground
  • Monte Cristo Campground
