Inyo National Forest Publishes Pack Fire Area Closure Order

Bishop, Calif. (Nov 16, 2025) – In an effort to provide for firefighter and public safety, the Inyo National Forest has published the Pack Fire Area Closure with Forest Order 05-04-53-25-36.

“There are also multiple National Forest System Roads and trails that are impacted by the fire that are being assessed for hazards,” said Inyo National Forest Supervisor Lesley Yen. “This restriction is necessary for the purposes of ensuring public safety and firefighter access until the hazards associated with the wildfire can be mitigated.”
