ALTURAS, CA February 16, 2026- Looking for a meaningful job in your own community? The Modoc National Forest is hiring seasonal employees for the summer season.
Apply through USAJOBS.gov – beginning February 20th, through March 3,2026.

Supporting the recent announcement of hiring1039 seasonal employees for the upcoming recreation season, the Modoc National Forest will hold an open house Wednesday February 25th from 5-7 PM @ 225 West 8th St. Modoc National Forest Office to assist local candidates with the hiring process and with more information regarding Positions.
“Seasonal jobs can be a first step into a natural resources career, a way to build experience, or simply a chance to spend the summer working outside,” added Bielecki. “We encourage anyone interested to apply.”
