San Gorgonio Campground
This family campground is 36 miles northeast of San Bernardino, Calif., within 25 miles of Big Bear Lake at an elevation of 6,500 feet.

This campground is close to the Barton Flats Visitor Center and Greyback Amphitheatre, with campfire programs on summertime weekends.

Individual sites at this campground operate on a 6-month rolling basis:
- Availability is released from Fri, April 17th 2026 through Sun, August 2nd 2026. Select dates for availability.
- On February 03, 2026 at 07:00 AM PST, availability will be released through August 03, 2026.
General Information
Reservations can be placed as late as 24 hours in advance upon availability. For example, reservations could be made on a Thursday before 2 p.m. for a Friday 2 p.m. check-in if availability.

This campground requires 2-day minimum stay on weekends and 3-day minimum on holiday weekends.
Parking is limited.
- No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
- Campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. Check with San Bernardino National Forest: 1-909-382-2600.
- Single Site: $34: Holiday, $36 - 8 person max
- Double Site $67: Holiday ,$69 - 16 person max
- Camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle.
- Extra vehicle fee: $8/night
- Checks under $50 not accepted.

From I-10 East to Redlands
- Take University Street exit, EXIT 80.
- Turn left (headed northbound) on University Street.
- Turn right onto E. Lugonia Avenue/SR-38.
- Continue on State Highway 38.
- From Mill Creek Work Center (Ranger Station) to San Gorgonio Campground is 19.2 miles.
- Campground entrance on left.
From Discovery Center
- Take Hwy SR 38 towards Redlands for 25.4 miles.
- Turn right into campground.
