Gateway Area Trails Closure Order
The Shasta-Trinity National Forest is closing three trails in the Gateway Trails System (Strawberry Valley – 04W48; Magma – 04W50; and Deadwood – 04W51). The closure is necessary to reduce risk to public safety within an area of massive white fir tree die-off, which has created many hazard trees along the trails.
