Shasta Lake Ranger District Office Closes to Public Oct. 1

Redding, Calif., September 30, 2025 — Starting Oct. 1, the Shasta Lake Ranger District Office will be closed to the public.

Public services that have been available at the Shasta Lake office – maps, permits, firewood sales, and recreation information – can be obtained at the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters Office in Redding, 3644 Avtech Parkway, during normal business hours, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Other operations at the Shasta Lake Ranger District Office will continue as usual.
