A32 Doris/Tule Trailhead
The Doris/Tule Trail is a 3.1 mile out and back trail that begins at Mono Hot Springs Resort adjacent to Mono Hot Springs Campground. The trail leads to Doris and Tule Lakes, Mono Meadow Trail, and a few faint connecter trails which intersect with Warm Creek Trail. It is a popular trail due to the proximity of Mono Hot Springs Resort and receives a fair amount of use; popular with day hikers, fishermen and backpackers looking for a short hike or an overnight adventure.
Common Destinations: Doris Lake, Tule Lake, Mono Meadow, Mono Creek, and Devils Table.

A permit is required year-round for overnight trips into John Muir, Ansel Adams, Dinkey Lakes and Kaiser Wildernesses. Trailhead quotas are in place year-round. For all trails, 60 percent of the trailhead quota is available through advanced reservation 6 months prior to entry date and 40 percent is available 2 weeks prior to entry date, for first come-first served. There is a $6.00 non-refundable reservation fee and a $5.00 charge for everyone included in the reservation.

Directions
From Clovis: Take highway 168 toward Huntington Lake. Turn right on Kaiser Pass Road (Forest Road 80). Travel 17 miles to the “Y”. Continue left toward Edison Lake (Forest Road 5S80) approx. 2.75 miles. The trailhead is on the west side of the road. Look for a sign that states "Mono Hot Springs Trail".
