Stanislaus National Forest Responding to Wildfire North of Donnell Vista

SONORA, California, (May 1, 2025) – Crews with the Stanislaus National Forest’s Summit Ranger District are responding to a lightning caused vegetation fire just north of the Donnell Vista.

Initial size-up reports indicate the fire is a 10 foot x 15 foot square, low rate of spread and smoldering. One engine is currently on scene, no additional resources have been requested.
