Stanislaus National Forest Seeks Public Input on OHV Grant Application

(Sonora, CA, February 20, 2026) --– The Stanislaus National Forest is seeking public input as it prepares its grant application for California’s Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreations (OHMVR) Division funding.

The Forest is developing preliminary applications for the California State Parks OHMVR grants program to support trail maintenance, law enforcement patrols, and other off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation initiatives. 

The public will have a final opportunity for review and comments from March 3 to May 4 on the California State Parks OHV site:  https://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1164 . Forest staff will consider public comments received as they develop the final grant application for submission in June.
