Cape Horn Area
The Cape Horn Area encompasses a unique area in the Scenic Area including a 6 mile loop trail and the Nancy Russell Cape Horn Overlook with classic views looking east up the Columbia River Gorge. Along the trail look for waterfalls, wildflowers and many species of birds.
Note: The trail on lower part of the full loop is closed each year from Feb 1 to Jul 15 to protect peregrine falcon nesting habitat.
