Cape Horn Overlook
Cape Horn Overlook is accessed via Cape Horn Trail #4418. Follow Cape Horn Trail for a scenic 2 mile hike to Cape Horn Overlook. The site was developed in dedication to Nancy Russell, who saved this slice of heaven and its breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge.
You can complete the entire strenuous loop between July 16 to Jan 31. Peregrine falcon closure is in effect for the section south of Highway 14, along Cape Horn Trail, from February 1 to July 15 which closes a section of the trail.

- Aircraft/UAS/drone takeoffs and landings are prohibited at this site.
- Day Use Only. No overnight camping allowed and absolutely NO CAMPFIRES are permitted.

Directions
From Washougal, WA: Travel east on Washington State Highwway 14 approximately 8 miles to milepost 26.4, Salmon Falls Road. Turn left (north) on Salmon Falls Road then immediately right on Canyon Creek Road, and park in the Skamania County Park and Ride parking lot. Take the trail across Salmon Falls Road from the parking lot, and enjoy a scenic 2 mile hike to Cape Horn Overlook.
From Bingen/White Salmon, WA: Travel west on WA-14 ~26 miles to milepost 26.4, Salmon Falls Road. Turn right (north) on Salmon Falls Road, then immediately right on Canyon Creek Road and park in the Skamania County Park and Ride parking lot. Take the trail across Salmon Falls Road from the parking lot.
