Rufus Route ORV #148
This multi-purpose trail follows a roadbed. Upper portion of the trail becomes boggy and difficult to cross during wet periods. The trail continues to Granite Peak or Frater Lake on Trail #142. The area provides visitors with wildflowers and wildlife viewing opportunities.
The western portion of the trail west of Forest Service Road 2712 is suitable for 50-inch and under ATVs. East of Forest Service Road 2712 is motorcycle road only.

Directions
From Colville, WA: Head north on N Maple St. toward E 2nd Ave. 0.1 mi. Turn right at the 2nd cross street onto WA-20 E/E 3rd Ave. Continue to follow WA-20 E for 24.5 miles. Turn right onto NF-200/Pend Oreille Lake Road for 0.9 miles the the trailhead.
