Partnerships
The Fremont-Winema National Forest occupies the heart of south-central Oregon, spanning immense natural diversity as the amount of rainfall trickles and population thins from west to east.
Recruiting volunteers and visitors to the far eastern edge of the forest can be challenging, for this we rely on our amazing partner organizations.
National Forest Foundation
The National Forest Foundation was created by Congress in 1992 to be the official non-profit partner of the USDA Forest Service. Its mission is to engage Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the National Forest System, and to administer private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests.
