ORDER
ENTRY AND USE RESTRICTIONS
GIFFORD PINCHOT NATIONAL FOREST, WENATCHEE NATIONAL FOREST, MT. BAKER-SNOQUALMIE NATIONAL FOREST, AND OKANOGAN NATIONAL FOREST
In order to protect Forest and Wilderness resources, the following acts pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 ( a) and (b), are prohibited within the Gifford Pinchot, Wenatchee, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie, and Okanogan National Forests, until further notice:
- Shortcutting a trail switchback, 36 CFR 261.SS(e).
- Being in an area posted as being closed for restoration, wilderness restoration, or rehabilitation. 36 CFR 261.53(b).
Pursuant to 36 CFR Section 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from clause one of this Order:
- None.
Pursuant to 36 CFR Section 261.SO(e), the following persons are exempt from clause two of this Order:
- Any Forest Officer or member of an organized rehabilitation crew engaged in a rehabilitation project.

Violation of these prohibitions is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 or imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or both. Title 16 use, Section 551.
