Baker Lake Road (FSR11) Closure at Shannon Creek Bridge

Beginning around July 15, Baker Lake Road (Forest Service Road 11) will be closed to all vehicle and foot traffic at the Shannon Creek Bridge (approximately MP 23.8), through its terminus at Baker River Trailhead. Baker Lake Trail (610) access will be only from the Baker Lake (South) Trailhead off of FSR 1107.  Baker River Trail (606) to Sulphide Creek Campground on North Cascades National Park access will be from only the Baker Lake Trail (610), an approximately 13 mile hike to the South.  The Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail (603, 607) will not have access to the Baker Lake Trail and through hikers will need to use the Baker Lake Road (FSR 11) between the FSR 1114-Sulphur Creek and Baker Lake Road junction and the FSR 12-Loomis Nooksack and Baker Lake Road junction.
