    Image

Rut damage on Pioneer Bridle Trail above Little Zigzag Falls connector trail.

    (Forest Service)

Caution: Pioneer Bridle Trail has heavy damage in multiple sections due to erosion from winter storms. Deep ruts could be dangerous for mountain bikers and other users. Bikers should be prepared to dismount for stretches.

Trails staff have flagged and signed a particularly dangerous section of the trail within a quarter mile of the Little Zigzag Falls parking lot that downhill bikers should avoid.

There may be other areas with damage that aren't flagged. Ride slowly and carefully or consider using a different trail until repairs are made.
