Barlow Pass Sno-Park & Trailhead
Barlow Pass Trailhead/Sno-Park is located along the Historic Barlow Road. There are several old-fashioned interpretive signs along the path. This trail also provides major access to the Pacific Crest Trail #2000. The trailhead/sno-park is located on Oregon Highway 35 approximately 2 miles north of US 26. There is an information board and access to ungroomed backcountry ski trails, space for 15 cars, and no trailer parking.
This lot often fills up on winter weekends, causing cars to begin to park along the narrow roadway. This does not allow for two-way traffic or give proper access to emergency vehicles. Do not park along the entryway to the lot.
Our field rangers publish a weekly snow conditions report during the winter.
Nearby access to: Pioneer Woman's Grave Trail #485, Pacific Crest Trail #2000, Barlow Butte Trail #670 and Mount Hood Wilderness.
