2026 Seasonal Campground Schedule for Olympic National Forest
(Olympia, WA) — The Olympic National Forest will open and close seasonal campgrounds on the dates listed below. All dates are subject to change. For the most current campground status, please call one of our offices, visit recreation.gov, or check our website at https://www.fs.usda.gov/olympic.
All campgrounds on the Olympic National Forest—except Willaby and Falls Creek in Quinault—operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Most campgrounds are cashless and use self-service stations or a scan-and-pay system. Scan and pay functions in areas with cellular service and will also work offline if the recreation.gov app is downloaded before arriving at the campground.
Hood Canal Area Campgrounds:
- Dungeness Forks: May 8– September 22
- Collins: May 8 – September 22
- Seal Rock: May 15 – October 27
- Falls View: May 21– September 15
- Work will be occurring in the north loop of the campground this spring, it is expected to be open by early summer.
- Hamma Hamma Campground: May 15 – October 27
- Lena Creek Campground: May 15 – October 27
- Big Creek Campground: May 15 – October 6
- Brown Creek Campground: May 15 – September 4
- Lebar Horse Campground: May 4 – September 4
Quinault Area Campgrounds:
- Willaby Campground: April 27- October 30
- Falls Creek campground: May 18- September 18
- Gatton Campground: May 18- September 18
- Campbell Tree Grove: May 18- September 18
Forks Area Campgrounds:
- Klahowya Campground – May 15– September 14
- Littleton Horse Camp – April 6 – December 1
