Geotechnical drilling and testing on Marys Peak and Mt. Hebo

Beginning December 8, 2025 geotechnical drilling and testing will be conducted on Marys Peak (Central Coast Ranger District) and on Mt Hebo (Hebo Ranger District) near established communication sites. This is a coordinated effort between the Bonneville Power Administration and the Siuslaw National Forest. You may see or hear equipment working and please be aware of truck traffic in the area. There are no closures in place and work should conclude by the end of the month.
