North Ridge Trail #1350
The North Ridge Trail on Marys Peak is one of the more remote trails on the peak. The full length of the trail is 6.4 miles but the most common route begins at the Woods Creek Trailhead. This shared use trail is part of a popular mountain biking loop. Climbing the North Ridge is challenging and the descent steep with switchbacks and some technical areas. To access the trail from the Woods Creek Trailhead, walk through the gate and you will find the marked trailhead immediately to the right.
Length: From the Woods Creek trailhead, 4.4 miles one-way to reach the parking area for Marys Peak Day Use. It is approximately 0.6 miles (depending on which route you take) to the top of Marys Peak from the Day Use parking area. Round trip is approximately 10 miles.
Elevation: Begins at 1,300, climbs to 3,760 feet
Restrooms: There are no restrooms at the Woods Creek Trailhead. Two restrooms are available at Marys Peak Day Use.
Closed to biking annually October 15 to May 15.

- Trail closed to mountain bike use between October 15 through May 14 to reduce resource damage on wet trails.
- Electric bikes (E-bikes) are not allowed on trails designated for non-motorized use such as mountain bike or hiking trails. E-bikes are classified as self-propelled motor vehicles and are only allowed on roads or trails open to motorized vehicles. See maps for those motorized roads and trails.

Access to this trail is at Woods Creek Trailhead.
Directions
From Corvallis, OR: Drive west on Hwy 20/34 through Philomath. When the two roads split, travel west (stay right) on Hwy 20 for 1.8 miles to Woods Creek Road. Turn left onto Woods Creek Road and continue 7.5 miles to the parking area before a locked gate. Woods Creek Road is paved for the first two miles and the remainder is gravel. Please do not block the gate when parking your vehicle.
The trail crosses the road just inside the gate and extends uphill (to the right) to the top of Mary’s Peak and downhill (to the left) to the Old Peak Road Junction.
