National Forest Service Road 28 Roadwork

Ongoing roadwork is occurring on National Forest Service Road 28 at milepost 15.49 and 18.60. Expect intermittent, minimal delays, slow down, and watch for flaggers. Work has a tentative completion date of November 1, 2026. Work includes tree felling and retaining wall construction at milepost 15.49 and road realignment at milepost 16.8.
