Baker Valley Overlook
The Baker Valley Overlook offers sweeping vistas of the Wallowa Mountains and Baker Valley. Located along the Elkhorn Drive Scenic Byway, this small overlook has intrepretive panels about the local agriculture, settlement and mining history of the area.

Directions
From Baker City, OR, head north on Highway 30 toward Haines approximately 10 miles; In Haines turn left and follow the Anthony Lake Highway signs (turns into Forest Road 73) for about 20 miles to the Baker Valley Overlook site.
From La Grande, OR, head south on Interstate 84 to North Powder, Oregon; Take the North Powder exit and head west on State 237 (follow Anthony Lakes signs) after 4 miels turn left on Ellis for 0.7 miles and turn right on the Anthony Lake Highway (turns into Forest Road 73) for about 10.5 miles to the Baker Valley Overlook site.
