Salmon Creek Falls Campground and Day Use

Current Conditions
Campground is open for the 2026 season.

This 14 site campground and day use area is located in a beautiful, lush, old growth forest along Salmon Creek. The rocky gorge-like area creates two small beautiful waterfalls and several deep pools which reflect the clear blue-green waters. Springtime brings a full range of wildflowers along the rocky banks as well as in the woods and meadows. Wild thimbleberries and hazelnuts abound in the summer.

In the years past, Salmon Creek supplied water for the City of Oakridge. The remains of some old wooden, wire-wrapped water pipes can still be seen.
