El Portal Rainforest Center Annual Closure

El Portal Rainforest Center in El Yunque will be closed to the public from September 8th to the 20th for general maintenance work on the facility. This two-week closure takes place every year in September. 

In addition to infrastructure maintenance, employees and partners at the center will use this time to refresh their knowledge of operations, interpretation, forest history, flora and fauna, and customer service, among other topics, in order to provide better service to future visitors.

Cierre anual del centro El Portal de El Yunque  

El centro El Portal de El Yunque cerrará al público desde el 8 hasta el 20 de septiembre por trabajos de mantenimiento general en la planta física. Este cierre de dos semanas se produce todos los años en septiembre. 

Además del mantenimiento a la infraestructura, durante este periodo, los empleados y partners del centro aprovechan para actualizar su formación en operaciones, interpretación, historia del bosque, fauna y flora, y atención al cliente, entre otros temas, con el fin de ofrecer un mejor servicio a los futuros visitantes.
