Water, Air and Soil

Water, air, and soil are three natural resources that we cannot live without. The Forest Service strives to protect, maintain, and restore these valuable assets now and into the future.

We monitor conditions and work to restore degraded aquatic ecosystems and recover threatened, endangered or sensitive species. By increasing system productivity, we improve opportunities for people who use the forest streams and rivers.
