PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF 16 U.S.C.,SECTION 551 AND 36 CFR 261.50(a) AND (b), IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT THE FOLLOWING ACTS ARE PROHIBITED ON THE AREA, ROADS, AND TRAILS DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDER AS, RED SLOUGH, WITHIN THE OUACHITA NATIONAL FOREST, AS INDICATED BY ERECTED BOUNDARY SIGNS.
THE FOLLOWING PROHIBITED ACTS ARE SET FORTH IN 36 CFR 261.53:
261.53(b) The area is closed to all public use from October 15 through January 31 for the protection of special biological communities.
The area is defined as all National Forest Lands located in Sections 23-26 and 36, T9S, R25E.
PURSUANT TO 36 CFR, SECTION 261.50(e), THE FOLLOWING PERSONS ARE EXEMPT FROM THIS ORDER:
(1) Persons with a permit specifically authorizing otherwise prohibited act or omission.
(2) Any Federal, State, or local officer or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
These prohibitions are in addition to the general prohibitions 36 CFR part 261, Subpart A.
