Rochester Valley Trails

The Rochester Valley Trail network is a system of loop trails traveling past traces of the area’s historical past. What is now part of the Green Mountain National Forest was once managed for several generations as a dairy farm by the Perkins family. The barns visible from this location were built around 1850 and visitors may find stone walls and remnants of a maple sugaring arch located along the trail from a time when this site was managed as part of the Perkins farm.
