Red Bridge Road - Bridge Closure

Missouri Department of Transportation and Christian County have closed Red Bridge, on Red Bridge Road, in Christian County. Barriers are in place to block access to the bridge.

Red Bridge Road is a county road that goes through the Ava/Cassville/Willow Springs Ranger District, east of Highway 65 and west of Chadwick. There are no recreation sites on the Mark Twain affected by the bridge closure.

The bridge was damaged by floods this year and is not safe for vehicle use. Please be aware that a reroute may be necessary if you are planning a drive through that part of the Forest.
