Public invited to Superior National Forest open house events
Join staff in March and April for open houses hosted by the Laurentian and Gunflint ranger districts.

(DULUTH, Minn. February 24, 2026)—The Superior National Forest invites the public to the following district office open houses in March and April.
- The Laurentian Ranger District open house is Tuesday, March 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Laurentian District Office, 318 Forestry Road Aurora, Minn. 55705.
- The Gunflint Ranger District open house is Thursday, April 23 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Schaap Community Center, 7401 Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, Minn. 55604.
Forest Supervisor Tom Hall, district rangers and project staff will share information about mission-critical work including upcoming road and trail construction, prescribed fire, active management and recreation projects. You can also learn about Forest Service careers and partnership or volunteer opportunities.
