Lower Paradise Lake Cabin

A 12 x 14-foot rustic cabin on Lower Paradise Lake in the remote Paradise Valley. Views of glacier-covered mountains.

This cabin sleeps 6, and has a table, wood stove, splitting maul, crosscut saw, outhouse, and rowboat with oars.

Not included: running water, electricity, mattresses or bedding, cooking utensils, or cut firewood.

Current Conditions
The seclusion of this cabin necessitates being prepared to handle any emergency situation. Inclement weather may cause an unexpected extension of the trip. Bring extra supplies to last 2-5 days.

General Information

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round. Check-in/Check-out time is 12pm.

A stay at the Lower Paradise Lake Cabin is $60/night. A non-refundable service fee will be added to each reservation by Recreation.gov.

Directions

Lower Paradise Lake Cabin is accessible by floatplane: 15-minute flight from Moose Pass or 20-minute flight from Seward.

There is no trail near this cabin. Access on foot is a very challenging 8 mile bushwack from the east end of Ptarmigan Lake Trail, or 14 miles via North Fork Snow River Valley.
