Sections of road closed at Ward Lake Recreation Area

KETCHIKAN, Alaska, May 28, 2025 — The road is closed between Signal Creek Campground and the parking area on the south side of the Ward Creek bridge due to flooding in the Ward Lake Recreation Area. 

Hikers are cautioned to avoid flooded trails as strong currents have been reported.
