Admiralty Cove To N. Young Lk Trail

The Admiralty Cove To N. Young Lake trail is 4.8 miles long. It begins at Admiralty Cove and ends at Young Lake. It is a relatively flat trail through a spruce/hemlock forest gradually climbing toward Young Lake and follows the creek at each end of the trail. The creek is home for spawning pink salmon beginning in early July. A 1/2 mile long boardwalk muskeg meadow occurs close to Young Lake.

Directions

This trail is on the northern end of the Admiralty Island. It departs south from Admiralty Cove Cabin along the creek and ends at the north end of Young Lake at North Young Cabin.
