field_attrib_and_satellite_data.csv \Data Comma-delimited ASCII text file containing field attributes such as vegetation, soil, and surface cover characteristics measured from 2013-2016 for five western U.S. ecosystems that had fires from 2000-2007. Also included are satellite observations such as differenced Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR) measurements from Monitoring Trends in Burn Severity (MTBS), as well as annual (1984-2016) satellite observations of the Normalized Burn Ratio (NBR) derived from the Landsat-based detection of Trends in Disturbance and Recovery (LandTrendr) algorithm.
field_attrib_and_satellite_descriptions.csv \Data Comma-delimited ASCII text file containing a complete list and description of each variable in field_attrib_and_satellite_data.csv.
14-1-02-27_JFSP_final_report.pdf \Supplements Adobe Acrobat PDF/a file containing the Joint Fire Science Program Final Report (Project ID: 14-1-02-27): "How vegetation recovery and fuel conditions in past fires influences fuels and future fire management in five western U.S. ecosystems".
BurnSev_remeas_field_sampling_protocol_v7.pdf \Supplements Adobe Acrobat PDF/a file containing the sampling protocol for burn severity re-measurements sites.
R_code_to_merge_data.txt \Supplements ASCII text file containing R code that will merge data from this publication with the data from Hudak (2010, 2013) and Bright et al. (2019).
