\Data |
Comma-delimited ASCII text file containing data from three red oak (Quercus rubra) progeny trial plantations managed by the USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Station, Hardwood Tree Improvement and Regeneration Center (HTIRC). Data include both quantitative and qualitative data (categorical ratings) used to investigate trait heritability, the effectiveness of a binary system (1/0) for rating and evaluating juvenile red oak form, and the form trade-offs resulting from selection for height and diameter growth. This file is the complete set of data used in the analysis represented in Woeste et al. (2021). |
NRO_115_117_119_MAIN PROGRAM FILE.sas |
\Supplements |
ASCII text file containing SAS code for calculation of all summary statistics, heritabilities, breeding values, Genotype x environment interactions, variance components, tests of normality, Best Linear Unbiased Predictions (BLUP), and gain calculations for the data included in this data publication. This file is included for the convenience of those who are familiar with SAS code and its use in forest genetic analysis. |
NRO_plot_115_map.csv |
\Supplements |
Comma-delimited ASCII text file containing a numeric map of plantation 115 to aid in visualization. Family information is provided for each tree by row and column of the plantation. |
NRO_plot_117_map.csv |
\Supplements |
Comma-delimited ASCII text file containing a numeric map of plantation 117 to aid in visualization. Family information is provided for each tree by row and column of the plantation. |
NRO_plot_119_map.csv |
\Supplements |
Comma-delimited ASCII text file containing a numeric map of plantation 119 to aid in visualization. Family information is provided for each tree by row and column of the plantation. |
