CSV file containing all perennial graminoids, along with three low-growing, mat-forming forbs (Eremogone fendleri (A. Gray) Ikonn. [formerly Arenaria fendleri A. Gray], Antennaria rosulata Rydb., and Antennaria parvifolia Nutt.) were mapped as polygons (i.e., 'cover' features). The UTM coordinates reflect the polygon centroid in the UTM Zone 12 coordinate system, projected from the North American Datum of 1983. The coordinates within the quadrat show the position within the 1-square meter quadrat itself, and range between 0 and 1. These polygon centroid coordinates only reflect the center of mass of each polygon and do not necessarily lie inside the polygon. To see the true shape of the polygon, please refer to the actual polygon feature classes. |

Quadrat descriptors also include the site name, a "Site-Specific" name that gives additional information on where the quadrat can be found within the site, an "AKA" field listing an alternative quadrat naming system used by some studies, elevation in meters, an "Exclosure" value indicating whether the quadrat is within a livestock exclosure, and a "Note" field and "Comment" field describing various other attributes of the quadrat. |

If a quadrat was not surveyed in a particular year, this table explains why it was not surveyed that year. No quadrats were surveyed in 2008 due to time and funding constraints that year. |
