ProxyTempMoisture_1980to1999_2024-10-04.tif \Data Georeferenced (GeoTIFF) raster file (and associated files) containing climate-sensitive proxy soil temperature and moisture regimes, or climate regimes, characterizing conditions in the southwestern U.S. drylands for the time period 1980-1999. There are 24 categories of climate regimes, each with a specific temperature regime (cryic, frigid, mesic, or hypermesic), characteristic seasonality of precipitation (ustic/udic or xeric/aridic), and mean precipitation zone. The final spatial data layer is at 1-kilometer (km) resolution.
