Horse Riding
Kelly Pines is the hub of the 38-mile Spring Creek Horse Trail system. There is a map on the information board and maps can be downloaded from this website or picked up at Allegheny National Forest offices. The riding season is from mid-May to late October. Please be aware of weather conditions and use the Forest Roads if there has been more than 1 inch of rain in a 24-hour period. The trail has been built to be sustainable, but riding in too soft conditions can still damage it. Riding is only permitted on the trail and Forest Roads in this area – please, no cross-country riding within the Spring Creek Horse Trail system.
