Angeles National Forest extends closure thru Jan. 24, 2025
The entire Angeles National Forest is temporarily closed through Friday, January 24, 2025, at 12:00 midnight (end of day) for public safety and the protection of natural resources.

Area Status: Closed
The Bear Canyon Trail is 5 miles long. It begins at Mt. Lowe Truck Trail (2N50.1) at the water tank and ends at Gabrielino National Recreation Trail below Switzer Falls. Not recommended for equestrian or mountain bike usage.
