Bear Canyon Campground
Amenities: 3 hike-in campsites- Picnic tables and campfire rings, no toilets, no trash receptacles. Pack In-Pack Out. There is no piped water available. Seasonal stream water (treat before using). However, water flow may be low or non-existent due to reduced rainfall. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.
Hiking: Access to the trail camp is a 4.5 mile hike down the Arroyo from Switzer's Picnic Area.
Fees: Camping - Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass Required if parking at any of the parking areas for Switzer's Picnic Area. Campsites are first come-first served. No reserving or holding of campsites allowed.

General Information
Directions:From Interstate 210 in La Canada, exit at Angeles Crest Highway (HWY 2) and drive northeast for approximately 10 miles to the Switzers Picnic Area. Take a right into the Switzers Picnic Area and follow the narrow paved road about 1/2 mile down to the lower parking lot. The trail to Bear Canyon Trail Camp begins at the east end of the parking lot across a wooden footbridge.
