Bear Canyon Campground
Amenities: 3 hike-in campsites- Picnic tables and campfire rings, no toilets, no trash receptacles. Pack In-Pack Out. There is no piped water available. Seasonal stream water (treat before using). However, water flow may be low or non-existent due to reduced rainfall. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.
Hiking: Access to the trail camp is a 4.5 mile hike down the Arroyo from Switzer's Picnic Area.
Fees: Camping - Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass Required if parking at any of the parking areas for Switzer's Picnic Area. Campsites are first come-first served. No reserving or holding of campsites allowed.

From Interstate 210 in La Canada, exit at Angeles Crest Highway (HWY 2) and drive northeast for approximately 10 miles to the Switzers Picnic Area. Take a right into the Switzers Picnic Area and follow the narrow paved road about 1/2 mile down to the lower parking lot. The trail to Bear Canyon Trail Camp begins at the east end of the parking lot across a wooden footbridge.
