Know Fire & Other Restrictions Before You Go!: These conditions can affect your entire trip. For example, Extreme and Critical fire use restrictions mean no campfires and no portable cooking systems/stoves. Bring cold food and no S'mores.

Overview of Site (Under Normal Circumstances):
Big Rock Campground is open year-round and can be accessed from Forest Service Road 4N11. 4N11 is closed seasonally from beginning of May to mid-November. During winter months, when Forest Service Road 4N11 is closed, you must hike in 1/8th mile from gate.
Amenities: Eight campsites with one designated picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets. Trash receptacles. No water available. (Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.)

General Information
Directions:From Highway 138 from Pearblossom, CA, turn south on Longview Road. Turn left on Valyermo Road and drive past the Mojave Work Center. Turn right on Big Rock Creek Road and continue up the canyon past Sycamore Campground. Drive past Camp Fenner to the campground entrance road located on the right-hand side of Forest Service Road 4N11.
