Know Fire & Other Restrictions Before You Go!: These conditions can affect your entire trip. For example, Extreme and Critical fire use restrictions mean no campfires and no portable cooking systems/stoves. Bring cold food and no S'mores. 

Be Bear Aware!: Bear safety is critical, for the safety of your group and/or you, as well as our bears. Help keep bears wild by following these tips. 

Overview of Site: 

Guffy Campground is open year-round. However, it is hike-in only from early- to mid-November to late-April through early-May due to seasonal closures of Blue Ridge Road (Forest Service Road 3N06).

Guffy Campground is located 6 miles from Inspiration Point and Angeles Crest Highway (CA-2) and 3 miles from Blue Ridge Campground. 

Elevation: 8,300-feet in elevation

Amenities: Six campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets. No water available. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.

Hiking: Access to the Pacific Crest Trail

Fees: Camping - Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass required

          Day-use - Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass required

General Information

Directions: Located on Blue Ridge Road 6 miles from the intersection of Blue Ridge Rd. and Angeles Crest Highway (the intersection is 1.5 miles west of Big Pines). The road into the campground is a rough dirt road - after the first 5 miles a four-wheel drive is required.
