Amenities: 20 Campsites- picnic tables and campfire rings, vault toilets. No piped water. There is currently no piped water available. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.
Fees: Camping - Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass Required. Campsites are first come-first served. No reserving or holding of campsites allowed.

Hiking: A short walk to the trail behind the fire station leads to local Whitaker Peak.
RV’s: Maximum RV length is 22' - No hookups.
Oak Flat Campground is located on the north west side of the forest in a mediterranean type climate with easy access off the I-5 freeway. With 20 campsites, grab the family and spend the weekend roasting marshmallows around the campfire, go on a hike to Whitaker Peak, or hop in your vehicle for a short drive to the cool waters of Piru Creek at Frenchmens Flat.

General Information
Directions: From Castaic, drive 6 miles north on Interstate 5. Turn left on Templin Highway and go under the freeway. Drive northwest for 3 miles to campground.
